I'm not sure it will because it won't stop freakin' raining!!!!! But the next 3 days should be very sunny and hot!!! I'll call my brother today and see if he's heard anything about the status of the turf installation. They live about 3 or 4 blocks from the field.

Just heard from a VERY reliable source. The turf and track will probably NOT be ready by the 1st home game. All home scrimmages and games will be played @ Pflugerville Hendrickson Hawks Stadium as needed until everything is done.

Actually, I believe they started right after school was out at the end of May. But the weather has not cooperated at all. I know it rained for like 22 days straight at one time.

I heard the rain put them way behind and they may not be ready until late September or October. They talked about playing at the old field, but may rent another field instead.
