I know it's the 1st preseason game, but I like the way we are palying. Coach Tomlin is doing a great job so far.

I thought the steelers would just run them in the ground.

The saints better step it up if they want to do good this year!

Well, Roethlisberger was only in for the Steelers opening drive. He was 2 of 3 for 73 yards and led the Steelers on 6 play 80 yard TD drive to start the game. Brees was 1-6 for 6yds and was only in for 2 drives. Bush also had 8yds off of 2 carries on those two opening drives.

Brees, needs to get his stuff together, I know its preseason but, man. He looked terrible

NFL preseason games are useless to watch. You cannot in anyway see how good a team will be by watching preseason games. Coaches arent coaching to win those games. They are making play calls in order to put certain players in situations to see how they will perform.

just another example of how pre-season is meaningless

this just means pittsburgh's fourth string is better than New Orleans'

As a whole, preseason games may be meaningless as far as trying to determine how a team will do for the year. But you would still like to see your starting offense put up some yards and some points.

The best pre-season game to watch will be the next to last one. The starters will be in the entire first half and maybe the first series in the second half.

Well I watched my team perform horribly last year in the preseason and then watched things go from bad to worse when it counted. You can't take too much from the scores at all, but if your team looks dysfunctional and awful even when you have the starters in, chances are it might be a long season.

or if you're a Raiders or Browns fan, you know these games are the best chance your team has to win all year!
