sure hope they added some seats on the visitor side. those should have been expanded, very little space.

I've played there two times... each time we played 'em there they had that fair goin' on across the street...

it's never been a big stadium, but it has always been a nice stadium...

Just imagine Forney's stadium... 'cept a lot smaller with a big red cardinal head painted in the middle of the field...

Both sides have been re-done, very nice complex. Something for C-town to be proud of!!!!

The thing that really impresses me it's being done without tax dollars. If I understand it right all of the funds were donated. Great job!

Drive through Columbus regularly and the stadium is very nice but how will their team stack up in that district?

Do you know who donated the funds?

Wonder if it was those Schobels playing in the NFL?

DONATED MONEY FOR ATHLETIC IMPROVEMENTS!!!???

what a novel idea!!!

some communities really embrace the " chamber of commerce" moments that athletics and friday nights bring....

The Schobels did their part but one ex-Cardinal donated something like $1-million to the cause. However, the whole community started donating and it just snowballed and week after week the local papers had photos of people and organizations coming through with nice sized donations. They did the same thing a few years ago to redo the baseball field and it is really nice, chances are the football stadium will be as nice or better. Great job. In most towns this sort of thing is handed to the tax payers, but not in Columbus.
