its like the calm before the storm, experts predicted that this year would rival 2005,but yet nada......should we let our guard down....i say NOT.

I hear that....... I was talking to my underwriter at TWIA (Windstorm Association) on Friday and we were just saying the same thing. I hope we go the entire season without a storm

the next 6 weeks are the most active. the middle of august to the middle of september are the best time. high pressure has not been with us much this summer. hope it builds in the next 6 weeks. only downer are really hot days. ytbd, but we are over due, and no, do not let your guard down..

Hurricane Humberto wasn't quiet. It swept into southeast Texas and whacked the area pretty badly. That was last Thursday. Over $500 million in damages. I have a giant pecan tree on the roof of my office. That could not have been very quiet. Other offices were whacked by flying debris and one burned to the ground as a result of the storm. Not very quiet.

No football games were canceled but a few were moved or rescheduled. The football stadium is trashed at High Island.
