flying up to Iowa sunday to work on some wind turbines and help get a new site running!!!! will be there for 3 weeks, then coming back on the 25th and college starts back up the 27th

but the per-diem is WORTH IT!!!!! WOOOHOO!!!!!!

i'll check in time to time!:)

Wow, I can't think of a single thing in Iowa....potatoes, no that's Idaho:thinking:

no, more like "If I owned Iowa and Hell I'd rent out Iowa and live in hell!" ha

where are those at? North/Central Iowa?

I remember seeing a lot of those off of I-35 when heading up to Minnesota...

I drove across Iowa once....most boring drive ever. Lots of wheat and corn and not much else, at least along I-35.

well the first part of Iowa leaving Missouri isn't bad (Around the Madison County area), but the rest is just like "wow"... I remember lookin over at downtown Des Moines and it just looks like skyscrapers growing out of of a corn-field...

but the wind-turbines in the north/central area along 35 gave me something to look at...

my plane arrives in Cedar Rapids tomorrow at 3....the wind-site is in Sioux Falls i believe
