I heard he was supposed to be heading a marijuana legalization campaign/concert. But thats just what I heard, who knows with that crazy redneck.

I thought it would be funny to tell my kids that Willie Nelson was their uncle (same last name) when they were younger. The little joke turned into a monster and I had to explain to my son's teacher, people at his Career Day, etc., that Uncle Willie really wasn't a relative and while my 7-year-old wanted to write to him to invite him to his class musical, it probably wouldn't make a lot of sense to ol' Willie when he received it.

It was dang funny to hear the boys get so excited whenever Willie Nelson came on the radio or we saw his poster at Texas Roadhouse. Not so funny having to explain it to other adults. :eek:

They both sang the song...... :D

And I had just watched a PBS special with Willie, Merle and Ray Price.

Willie did Whiskey River. And they all sang, "Crazy". It was great!

I collect viny records and have a bout 50 33s of Willie and about 30 on 45

Also have about 25CDs of hise


He played in El Campo about 12 years ago-the day before his 4th of July Picnic

It was packed

Also catched his show at Fort Bend County Fairgrounds in Rosenenberg about 7 years ago.

He does call in show at 1 p.m. Wed on XM Radio 171-hosted by Bill Mack
