Some schools north of Houston are in Region 2 (not 3), so that is probably it. Schools like The Woodlands, Klein schools, Conroe, etc. I think it is determined by region of your high school but I could be wrong.

Watch #10 Brandon Williams for the South. He has grade issues (signed with Texas A&M) but that kid is an athlete from Beaumont. Hope he qualifies...

#56 for North Tray Allen (Texas) was the best OL in state last year. Check him out too.

Just read an article in the Midland paper....Greenwood's Lane Flowers IS playing tonight....and was the ONLY player selected from the Permian Basin to play on the North Team!!:eek: :eek:

Sounds like a good explanation. I wouldn't have thought Conroe to be in Region2, but considering the large number of 5A schools in the Houston/Beaumont area; it makes sense.
