Many years ago when phones first came out a scarecrow was watching a crow flying around the window of a farmhouse. The family had gone to town to buy groceries and supplies. The window is an open window so the crow flies inside the window and picks up a telephone on a table right by the window and dials a number and yaks a few minutes. Then the crow hangs up and flies out the window and flies and lands on a corn stilk right by the scarecrow. The scarecrow is wondering what is going on and asks the crow "What were you doing on the telephone?"
The crow replies "Just making a long distance 'CAW!"
Get it? CAW!!
