LOL! Yes, believe it or not, she can walk, and run up our stairs....she loves to play. She has just been obese for the majority of her life.

It has never been proven, but we believe it may be attributed to thyroid problems.

We have had her on every diet known to man...and she really doesn't eat more than any of the other cats.

But she did weigh a few pounds more at one time, so we are thankful she has lost a little.

We almost lost her once due to poor health. Her liver and kidneys began to shut down and she was completely jaundiced, and the doctors worked on her for about a month, giving her daily vitamin C flushes and what not. They did everything....and we had just graduated college so she was staying in the Commerce Vet while we had already moved to Tyler, so we didn't get to see her except for the weekend.

The vet called us and told us, he really didn't know what else to do for her, and he thought it was in our best interest to come and say our goodbyes.

So, we decided to keep her for the weekend to say our goodbyes, and to really think things over, because neither of us really supported euthanasia. Well we had her for the weekend, and I wish I could show ya'll the pictures....she just looked lifeless. She had had a stroke, and couldn't walk without shaking to the point of convulsing....we had to pick her up to take her to the bathroom. She stayed in my bed all day.

Well, that Sunday, this cat just did a 180. She started eating, walking, using the restroom, everything a normal cat does.
And she is my baby, my world! She is one of the reasons I am waiting to have kids, because I love spending time with my animals.
