But for a living, when you have a family to support and bills to pay, would you work for free if you loved the job?

I save my "free" work for home and volunteering for causes that I care about. Not quite sure what your circumstances are.:)

If you took a job that was supposed to pay, but did not pay, but you loved what you were doing, and had hope that it was going to pay....would you continue to stick with it?

In that case, only if you can gain some really good experience that will help you in the future....jmho. Someone's gotta buy the groceries and help pay the light bill.

Not a chance for me. If I work, I get paid or somebody might get thumped (or at least stripped naked, painted green and thrown out into a busy intersection).:D

So if you would not work for free....do you think being called a "moneygrubber" is a fair assessment?

Depends on their definition of "grubbing". If they are saying "greedy", that's wrong.

If you work you get paid. Thats why we do it. You work so you can live, not live to work. No pay ! No Work!

Who-dun-it!!?
