It was closed? I stopped by there about 2 weeks ago for a drink. I don't get gas from there because it sucks.

Theres an old closed down station between Brazoria and West Columbia. Makes me sad when I pass it and see the $1.45 sign.

Local station celebrated its grand opening yesterday with $2.49 gas. Sold out in like two hours from what I was told.

I was down there Monday and saw that sign at the light between Brazoria and WC. I think it was $1.39 for regular unleaded -- just think, I used to think that was high.

Haven't been inside, but I'm guessing remodeling.

BTW, the Valeros on the corner have the same price.

Valeros is a good station.
That company was voted the best company to work for in 07!

These prices had better keep dropping. Why is gas always cheaper in Calallen and along I-37 near Annaville?

I think it has to do with the availability of competition in the area. There are a number of alternate brands in that area. The Stripes watch Raceway and vice versa.
