View Full Version : 7th Grader returns 4 carat Diamond ring she finds...

A lady from Utah went into the restroom in Plano and took her ring off to wash her hands and left it there. She then went to Grapevine to shop and realized she didnt have it on. It was a princess cut 2 carat Diamond ring with another two carats in baggets. The lady and the 7th grader then met and the lady gave the girl a thank you card and a $500 check. Honesty paid off!!!!

Not being honest would of paid off more at the pawn shop though.

well...it was a 20k ring and a 7th grader trying to sell it on ebay or at a pawn shop would have thrown up some red flags...

Nice to hear a good story about a teenager........... :) Contrary to popular (and recent stories) there are young adults and teenagers who do know the right thing to do.... I believe in "what comes around, goes around" and "done unto others" -

I think its awesome they she turned it back over. I couldnt live with myself knowing that someone lost their ring that costs that much.

Why are people so shocked that she returned? It's not like it was lost at a Mcdonald's in the ghetto.

buddy of mine lives in McKinney and his car was stolen from some restaurant there the other day. There are thieves in those areas too!!!
