The old Pig became more political than most political blogsites. They spewed venom there except on Friday nights. I mixed it up a bit also and even got ROMed myself. I have mended my ways.

I love a good debate...you should know that.

But....you also know how it can sometimes get on those college threads.

Thank goodness now we don't have to just close them because a few can't behave....we can just ban the "trouble-makers" from posting!!:D :D

I don't think that you could really call Nich a Tech homer. Sure, he was a loyal alum and took up for the Red Raiders when he thought that they were being unfairly besmirched. (ya like that word? :D )

He would also criticize the Techsters when he thought they were not living up to expectations.

What some folks found irritating was the fact that Nich was an aggresive debater. (Some might say "master debater" :D ) He was very tough to move away from whatever point he was trying to make and would sometimes use some profane verbage when things got heated. He was an equal opportunity basher of all schools that played Tech but he did give props when he thought they were due.

If you had ties with Tech, then you probably tolerated Nich better than if you didn't have ties.

I personally found it humorous to watch him stir the pot.

Of course, I did attend Tech for the first 3 semesters of my college life. :p

I went 2 semesters at UT-Tyler, but thats not really TU.
Guess Im a t-shirt fan of PPU now that they have ASU.
Well there goes that BIG alumni donation check I send every year.

I feel my brothers pain from ET and A and I.

As bad as it is at least we aint the Corps.

I never did understand that T-shirt fan stuff. If I want to support a certain team, I don't care if I went there or not.

But I did go to Tech, so I guess the T-shirt fan tag doesn't fit.
