Here's the pitch........he extends his bat and hits it high and hard.....he's rounding first heading towards second, the outfielder has a bead on it ......... the play heats up as the runner heads for third ........... and now he's heading home as the ball clears the centerfield fence.......... home run.

Bonds (or is it the guy in the cartoon) heads for the dugout and pats himself on the back. Job well done he tells himself with a little smirk on his lips.

Meanwhile the fans (or is it the lady in the cartoon) get no satisfaction out the homerun. Both are just thinking - he'll probably go 0-24 before he hits another one!
