As promised. Pictures of the neighbors that moved in 4 months ago to a brand new home. They are raising the property value let me tell you. These were taken this morning with my phone as I drove down the alley, sorry if the quality is not that great, will update with a better camera tomorrow. Enjoy.

Hard to see but the mud in the alley is non stop because they dug their own in/above ground pool and dumped the dirt in the empty lot behind. Everytime it rains the alley fills up with silt from the run-off.

So I'm assuming you've turned them in to the city????

Only for the dogs running at large and having 4 dogs when the limit is 3 and they must be registered.

Wanted to spread the wealth, Friday is the two week anniversary from the dog complaint so we will file a complaint then about the trash in the yard. I plan on filing regarding the mud and construction without permit two weeks after that, then two weeks later their grass will be knee high and I can file a complaint about that...This will keep the city on them every two weeks for about two months straight.

What is that bamboo chit on their fence???? That is ghetto! But then, so is the trash in their yard. Geez, what a nightmare!

LOL....I am glad that I finally saw this. Thanks for posting those pics. There is one that reminds me of the aftermath of a tornado or hurricane (the one with the sheet metal and boards tossed around in the yard).

I like your strategy, but do you think waiting a full two weeks to complain each time is too long, given the typically slow response time of a city? Have you recruited the help of any of the other neighbors?

Good luck. The privacy (on top of a privacy) fence cracks me up. What do you suppose they are trying to hide?:D

my co-worker lives in a nice area in Victoria and is doing some construction on his home... they have a permit and all but had someone filed a complaint because they had an old washer and dryer sitting infront of their garage (it had been there two days, one of his relatives was going to pick it up the next day but had been busy)...

he's guessing the complaint was filed by his neighbors a couple of houses down who are trying to sell their house... they came home with a note on the door and a business card from someone from the city who came by to inspect the complaint... the lady actually went into their back yard (opened the gate, it's a PRIVACY FENCE, I know I helped him build the damned thing)... she said they needed to mow their backyard (which wasn't too high, they haven't mowed because its monsoon season, plus they're just finishing the construction project with a lot of "do it yourself" type stuff right now)...

he was furious, came into work the next day pretty pissed...

Looks to me like they're just trying to make it feel like home.......they probably miss the projects and thats the easiest way to ......okay okay..I'm gonna stop before I get banned. Hope it all works out for you amigo.
