what kind of monitor is that on the scoreboard? hopefully the isd spent the extra money to make it an instant replay screen, and not just dorky cartoons and text...

I really don't care what he thinks read his post and tell me who's stupid. Some of you guys asked a while back about pics and i got them for you. I never once said I thought our new stadium was anything but a new stadium "We are proud of it" and can care less what you think. You can reply ALL you want to emerson i"ve said all I needed to say. Oh and by the way it takes a REAL idiot to say a stadium don't make a team you missed the whole point and you know where you can put that pont too !!

You are the real idiot for not detecting the sarcasm that was even explained at the end of the post. See, I was making fun of burnet44, who hates any stadium that has lights. Hence the "/burnet44". The "/" indicates the end of something. I was ending the impersonation of b44

It might also of helped you when I said I hope Forney's turns out that nice to a little higher up

I forgot, this is the downlow, people can't take a joke.

I My apologies I thought you were bashing us and I got offended
and I can take ajoke ,but I don't post alot to know when someone is only joking. And now to answer Jason's question , it's a jumbo tron screen that will show everything from instant replay to live action as well as highlights. We will start a class this year
that will teach students how to run the big screen. It's a media class.

That seems a little suprising to me that with the size of a town that Navasota has that this new stadium only holds 5,000 total. Silsbee is the same size as Navasota and our new stadium( actually it's going on 7 years old ) holds now 10,000 after last years addition of a half horseshoe to the home side. Just thought the 5,000 doesn't seem enough.

Gee nice stadium. Too bad the Leps had Navasota away last season and home this year. With realignment coming they might not get a chance to play on it for some time. Good luck Rattlers.:)

How many times would a 3A game fill a 10,000 seat stadium? I'm sure there is room for expansion, but 5,000 should be plenty. One thing I liked about the old Brule stadium is that fans were very close to the field (no track). The new stadium will be great for Navasota and D23-3A, I only wished the Bellville game was in Navasota. I think the district should let the Rattlers play all their district games at home! :D

Burnet had 20,000 at each game a few years ago.

The capacity of Tiger Stadium in Silsbee is listed at 8500.

That was before the addition of new seats on the home side. A horseshoe was built 2 years ago. TexasBob site hasn't updated, the picture doesn't even show the addition.

Those legendary Southlake - Vernon games were only drawing 14 to 16k and people were coming from all over the state to see that. I can't imagine Burnet drawing that. But I guess it's possible.

It's true, people started lining up at 4:30 in the afternoon so they could get a good seat. Season tickets on ebay were going for $100 a game.
