Do you think any of this stuff is staged? or if the film crew feeds him, has a tent for him stuff like that? Pretty crazy eating all that stuff, but I'm sure he's getting paid good and it is for our entertainment.

my fav so far is when he was in Scotland and found the Red Deer that had fell to its death se3veral days prior. He cut the hide off the stinkign carcass to make a blanket for that nights rest. DUring the night while using the stinking hide he grew cold so he whizzed in a water bag and tucked it up underneath his jacket.

I also loved the marooned on the deserted island and he makes the raft and the tiger sharks start circling.

I'm pretty sure that at least some scenes are set up a bit. Yesterday, he jumped into freezing cold water and there just happened to be a bubbling hot mud spring that he used to create a warm bath to warm himself. He also found the carcass of a dead sheep. He strung some meat and an eyeball (ewww) with a shoestring and cooked them in the boiling water.

All I can say it....I hope he's being paid well for this. :D

he made a bow on one episode but it wouldnt show him actually killing any pirahna with it. Actually the camera was set up in such a way that a tree was blocking the view of him sticking any fish.
