I did venture over to North Beach after dark....didnt see much going on....didn't see many vagrants out though.....Club 1 was OK....not too bad...nice eye candy in there though...I was trying to get over to Stingrays but the young lady I was with wasn't into seeing the daisy dukes contest....

Longhorn Steak & Ale was excellent and not too pricey....overall Corpus is a good spot to visit....I'll be back

LOL....I was also proud that I got to Corpus in 6 1/2 hours and I stopped three times.....with no stops I would have made it in 6 hours

We used to travel US 77 all the way from Waco when we lived in Irving. It would take 7 to 7-1/2 hours each way. Of course, back then I drove a Pinto.;)

I took 77 back....got to see several towns....the outskirts of Sinton, Refugio, Halletsville, Schulenberg, LaGrange (which is a gorgeous town) Giddings, Cameron all stand out

Probably a better ride in that pickup than what I remember in that Pinto.:D

That is a great drive. You also drove by Rockdale as well.
