View Full Version : Waco Zoo was great.....

it was a cool, overcast day and the zoo is very clean.:) Well worth the $5.00 admission for adults and $3.00 (I think) for kids.

I absolutely cannot believe that Hwy 35 between Round Rock and Waco is not wider though....ther should be a minimum of three lanes, possibly four going each direction. Traffic was horrible.

I-35 is tough to navigate - especially toward the weekend. 6 car pile-up near Temple caused delays on Friday, plus 4 other accidents didn't help.

Yes that zoo was very nice. Another small zoo that is very good is the Caldwell zoo in Tyler. Small admission fee, but well worth it.

I think I am spoiled having the Fort Worth Zoo......I have been to several other zoos and they just don't stack up...I know its not like the San Diego Zoo but other than that its one of the top 2 or 3 in the country....Its been 3 or 4 years since I've been to Waco's Zoo though
