XBox premium or Xbox Elite?

i'm finally going to get the upgrade and get on xbox live, but i don't if i should get the elite or not, although it's 80 bucks more

i figured several of you might have an opinion on this

(i currently have the original xbox, i've played the 360 now and it's time to move on)

If u have an HDTV with HDMI I would get the elite

i don't have an HDTV yet, but i'm going to buy one when i get the 360

(it's an excuse to get something i've wanted anyway)

Then just go with the premium. You can't tell the difference between 720p(what you get with the premium) and 1080p(what you get on elite) on TV's under 50".

The only 2 games I know of so far that are actually rendered in 1080p are Virtua Tennis, NBA Street, and Splinter Cell Double Agent. For the most part most games are going to be 720p for the forseeable future.

I got a 48" DLP HDTV at WalMart during Christmas for one grand.

Has PC and HDMI inputs.

I will be getting the Elite 360 soon.
