Possible Matt Sighting in Corpus

I could be in Corpus this weekend......whats the quickest route?? Take I-35 to I-37???

Where in Corpus? There are different routes

I used to leave Ft. Worth and take 35 all the way to San Marcos, in San Marcos I take HWY 123 to Kennedy and 188 brings me all the way into Sinton. From Sinton you can take 181 to Portland and into Corpus or 77 into Odem and then 37 into CC. :D

You could take 35 to San Antonio and in SA take 37 into CC but then you wouldn't see all the cool little 1A, 2A & 3A towns. :p

I would probably take 183 south to avoid the Austin/San Antonio traffic.....183 will take you all the way to Refugio, where you get on 77 south. You could also stop and harass the Cuero folks along the way.;)

It's like this....

If it's Friday night either cut off on 183 or 123. Mainly bc of the traffic. Otherwise stick to I-35/I-37, it's quicker. But it all hinges on Austin traffc. I used to use 123 alot, but hell I-37 is 70-75 mph depending on how far you push the envelope. And I like to push it. :D

Matthew, take I35 to Austin and exit on US183 south. Stay on US 183 all the way to Refugio. In Refugio, bear right onto US77 south. That will take you to IH37 just in the west end of Corpus Christi.

Where are you going to be? We need to get together for dinner or something.

If you do go this way, don't forget that in Luling, you have to take a left to stay on 183 south. I think that is about the only place you could possibly mess up.

I just called my son's gf...she works for the Texas Treasure.
She said that the rain doesn't really affect their ability to set sail, the only thing that would keep them in is really strong winds or mechanical issues.
