if he was born and raised in texas, why go to another state? I
just do not understand. stay here and help our schools.

some kids don't care about that loyalty stuff until they are older, or never

but many come to regret it

He had it narrowed down to Texas A&M and Michigan, and I don't blame him for picking Michigan. We're stacked with running backs as it is and he wouldn't get to see the field for a couple of years. I mean yeah, it seems like it would be the best for a Texas team to get him, but if you're going to say shame on you for pursuing your dream in another state, then you should say the same thing to anybody who finds a career outside of Texas. That's just the way that I look at it. I will be disappointed if he goes back on his commitment, but that would be the only reason. I'm not going to jump on the kid for doing what he thinks is best for him, but him going back on his word is an entirely different story.

He still hasnt made a decision yet from what I see. Nothing on Rivals about it or texags. He will probably go to Michigan though.

He cancelled that announcement date early last week. He hasn't committed anywhere and it is down to Michigan and A&M.

He won't at Texas A&M. Proof?

Jorvorskie Lane, Mike Goodson, Cornell Tarrant

Enough said.

Mike Hart
Kevin Grady

Mike Hart will be gone after this year and Grady hasn't come close to living up to expectations. The depth chart at UM is much more favorable than A&M for McGuffie.

Is he really big enough ot play RB in the Big 10? I know the kid is talented but isn't he a smaller running back?

also, when most people think of mcguffie, 90% of them will remember him as the kid who hurdles people, even when he puts numbers up like that.

McGuffie won't decide for a while...I talked with him Friday....he's beaten down by recruiting...he's gonna take his time and make the right call....he'll probably just decide one day and make a surprise announcement...

McGuffie is NOT 180 pounds.....the kid has bulked up to 190 or 195 at least....my gut says Michigan though

who says you need to start your 1st season. redshirt and lane is a sr. go in, prove yourself and start as a soph. or jr. and have 2 or 3 good years. all that stuff about the hurdles means nothing. I would like to have those problems of being too small. the kid can play. only time will tell, and I wish him all the best, hopefully at a texas school. 6 foot , 200 lbs and quick as a cat, he will play.

If your good enough, you can get carries and yards. Happens all over the country. McFadden and Felix Jones. James Davis and CJ Spiller at Clemson. Jorvorskie and Goodson. Nebraska had 3 guys last year. USC will rotate about 3 or 4 guys this year.

In his defense, Grady was banged up a little last year but now he hurt his knee this spring and might miss the season.
