The purpose of this thread was to get TXBROADCASTER to reply. He messaged me last night that he and Buffy were drinking Patron shots at home. Then about 10:30pm he told me that he was really drunk. :D

I dont get hang overs...Buffy has a slight one...We drink early and often on nights we drink so we usually are done with the drinking by 11 or 12 at latest

However
My first husband did.
And in the innocence of my youth, I didn't realize the problems he had when drinking were caused directly by tequlia.

#1. He was a fun drunk to everybody but me
#2. He became completely irrational when drinking tequlia.
2a. He always wanted to drive our truck when he had been
drinking and would run and hide from me to keep me
from getting the keys. This included running across
both lanes of I-35 after a rodeo, and climbing over a
barbed wire fence.
2b. One time, he saddled his horse in the middle of the night
and rode 30 some odd miles into Uvalde before a friend
of mine could find him and haul him back.
2c. I could go on an on, but these are the most colorful
examples. You get the picture.:D

True story and several people saw him and thought he was a wetback because he had a navajo saddle blanket drapped over his shoulders.

He also rode from S. 1604 back to our house west of Poth one night. By that time, I didn't give a chit whether he got run over not. LOL

I dont like Dark beers, I have come to like Bud Ice also. I guess you can drink pretty much any beer when a 30 pack of cans is on sale for 11 bucks
