with AP Panther Mom and her daughters this morning.... well, brunch is another way of saying we met at Sonic, sat on the brand new little round tables and had "some drinks" lol......... I had my granddaughter with me, so we had a "girls morning" thanks for calling me APPF - nice to see you again and finally meet your girls..........I would have taken a picture, but that "no makeup" look is not my best :) I hope you have fun at your next stop........

Hey Lorey, it was great to see you and finally meet that precious granddaughter of yours!:)

Remind me next time that there isn't any place to stop for a restroom past Sonic:eek: but we did make it to Gonzales.:D

The rest of the trip went pretty good until we got to Austin and then it started pouring down rain. Almost missed our exit at about the same time Cameron was saying "Mom, will you puhleez make her to stop talking to me"...ahhh, traveling with children!:D

Anyway, we made it and I hope your gumbo turned out good. Peeling 40 pounds of shrimp isn't alot of fun, but the end result is usually well worth the effort. ;)

Hope to catch up with Deb this week and finally meet her.

well since you asked.. yes, the gumbo was great - I had two gallon zip lock bags full of pelled shrimp....... my brother worked his fanny off - made ALOT of Gumbo - 13 gallons to be exact.... the pictures don't do it justice..... glad you got there safe and sound..... next time - we'll include the bathroom break in the brunch package :)

When I hear the word "brunch" I think of a bunch of guys with names like Blaine and Chad sitting around wearing their Ivy League letterman sweaters talking about polo.

Maybe it's just me...
