Number 6 would be due to the history of "The Big Five" games played in that building. I'd love to see a game there when one of those schools are playing each other.

#7 Michie Stadium- Army football----the only important game they play each year isn't located there.
#8--it's hockey
#9--what the heck is Charles River???

Do you mean to tell me that these 3 are more important than.....

"The Horseshoe"- Ohio State Football
Rupp Arena
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum---I know there are a lot of UT fans/USC haters on here but I think it ranks higher than the 3 I listed above
Dean Smith Center
Neyland Stadium
even DKR should rank above those 3

I'd put the Big House above the Swamp.. but thats just me... Mariucci Arena should be about 5 or 6...

Their list:

1. Rose Bowl (agree)
2. Cameron Indoor Stadium (agree)
3. "The Swamp" Florida Football (though pretty cool there are plenty better not on this list)
4. "The Big House" Michigan Football (I can agree)
5. Rosenblatt Stadium - College World Series (for sure)
6. The Palestra (Philadelphia) (whatever)
7. Michie Stadium - Army Football (I can see that I guess)
8. Mariucci Arena - Minnesota Hockey (okay, list loses all credibility)
9. Charles River (who plays there?)
10. Allen Fieldhouse - Kansas Basketball (great arena, maryland's court is pretty damn good itself)

why does the list lose credibility because UM's Hockey Arena is on it?

becuase I don't think it's that impressive of a venue for a sport that most colleges do not even play... it lost credibility because it was put their for the sole-purpose of "spreading the love" to more than just football and basketball, like some civil rights group would get all over 'em if they didn't...

wasn't a bash on hockey, but seriously, it's got ice in it and some seats, but it means nothing to the great majority of Americans...

No, but its not just the fact that it houses the arena. The lobby is home to a Minnesota Hockey Museum of sorts...

personally I just wanna see College Station up on that list... that's not just a Texas thing, for real, that place is a top 10 venue... in all sports... college, pro, doesn't matter...

Michie Stadium definately deserves to be on this list.
The game day festivities and history there at West Point, make it one of the greatest venues in my opinion.

kyle field can easily be in any list with "the big house"

it's a great "venue", the scene where an action or event is witnessed...

i personally enjoyed the atmosphere at notre dame better than michigan. but both were better than any big 12 venue. i think nebraska is the the best for big 12 football (ncaa record of 282 consecutive sellouts). i really would like to experience the swamp, neyland, sanford, and death valley. nothing crazier than a 100,000 drunk redneck sec fans at one place at one time.
