all depends on how close the stadium is to the school..most 3A pressboxes dont have their own router or anything..but some do

Why?

I can tell you that most of the 3A press boxes I worked in didn't even have a phone line.

Come to Bridge City, maybe our brand new pressbox will allow you use of your Wireless connection, lol.

That's the one part about broadcasting I don't miss...showing up at some rinky dink stadium and hoping that the phone company made sure that the line was active like you asked. Otherwise you were SOL.

Luckily I was never SOL.

G if you have a sprint phone get a sprint network card, it's cheaper that way.

Been there..luckily MOST have an active phone line..now it is not always easy to snake the phone cable thru two rooms around the scorekeeper, under the trash can and over the top

BC stadium is hard wired with Cat. 5. Very few wireless around. We worked off a cellular internet hookup to update on games.

Last year during the playoffs at Mustang Bowl you could get a signal (may have to move around a bit)....but you could go wireless.

I have a new toy (to me any way) with my company computer and go broadband anywhere...as long as u have a cell phone signal!!!
