Junior #32 Lee Berend is dominating the Canyon Eagles along with the rest of the sharpshooting Steers. 11 points and 10 rebounds at halftime. Hope the Steers continue their run and gun style of play.

It's all about peaking at the right time. Ingram's defense has been lights out, holding every team so far under 40.

The bracket is set and the elite eight can be seen at http://www.uil.utexas.edu/ath/bbpair/aaab.html Good luck to everybody who is still playing, good job to those who lost, few made it this far. Good luck Rangers tomorrow!

I'd be shocked if West Oso could win Saturday. Four overtimes and then play the next day?

Rice Consolidated losing in 4 OTs? Where does THAT sound familiar? hehe. Just kidding, great game.

I'd be shocked if West Oso could win Saturday. Four overtimes and then play the next day?I'm sure they are conditioned well enough that it won't be a huge factor. Plus, you get a little adrenaline going and it's all good.

Rice doesn't go down easy, do they? I feel bad for that groups of guys, though. To lose in football and basketball the way they did must be tough. I'm guessing they'll get knocked out of the baseball playoffs in a 10 or 11 inning game.

I had the pleasure of watching that 4 OT football game. Now the same in BB. Goodness those guys don't give up, do they?
Good one on the baseball comparison. :D

How many will be back next year ?The 6'5 post is a soph, Dominic Adams (the best player on the team) is a soph, and the PG is a junior. I think there were four seniors that contributed with two starting, but those three returning are pretty good players to build on next season, and the taste of success will sure help. This was Ingram's first time past the first round since winning state in 2A back in 1989-90. I think they've only had two or three playoff appearances in that time, so this was uncharted terriotory for them. They did well, holding all their playoff opponents under 40. I think if they can improve the offense next year, they'll be a contender. Good luck West Oso.
