A great album

what, to you, makes a great album? place on the charts, your personal preferences ....?!?

me?...if i like every song on the album and/or know the lyrics, and can pop it in the player and listen to it anytime...that to me is a great album.

All the songs need to be good. And meaningful. And not too mainstream.

Case in Point.

The Beatles- Rubber Soul

Yea, the Beatles are mainstream. But compared to other Beatles album, this one is less recognizable to the casual fan.
