I actually just bought the magazine yesterday. I was wondering around Wal-Mart in my usual fog and glanced over and saw Tommy Blake (Aransas Pass/TCU) on the cover. Really nice article on kids from small schools doing well at the college and nfl levels.

Anyway, when I got to the high school section (you posted above) I saw that not only did he put us last in district, he renamed us the Aransas Pass Bobcats.:rolleyes:

Still worth the $10.00 to see all of the Tommy Blake coverage.:)

maybe this has been caught before. But Andrews is ranked above Midland Greenwood on the top 25 but they have Midland picked above Andrews in district. Andrews is not as good as Midland Greenwood IMO. does anyone else see that mistake?

Picking Frisco Wakeland over Pilot Point is a HUGE deal in North Texas, simply because PP has been to the playoffs 28 out of 29 years or something like that, and they return a good core

however, i think Wakeland WILL be very good this year (they showed a lot of poise for a first-year program last year)

maybe its not a mistake ------- Padilla does the polls & the staff does the individual conference sections ... just differing opinions
