Looks good after 2 weeks of football. Everman should be no. 1 until proven otherwise, toss up between jasper and burnet, both have been playing great for the first 2 weeks.

This is abit of surprise to me. I dont think Winnsboro has been that strong to be in the top 20. And Lindale probably should have been maybe number 20 instead of 16. Other than that it looks pretty good to me.

i would have to disagree with Commerce's ranking.....they are a solid top 5 team. I'm going to be at the Forney/commerce game next week and watch my rabbits get slaughtered. Sorry forney, but this is one that you can't win. *shakes head* i predict 28-3.

Okay, I have to ask... Bridgeport is at #38 I believe. Does anyone else beside an obvious homer like me understand why they are ranked so low?

Last week's Harris was #9. This week's AP is #6... Yeah, that is a little generous, but #38?

Anyone have an insight here?

Bridgeport and Commerce are legit top 10 teams and quite possibly top 5.Burnet's defense is too weak to be #2.Burnet should be 7-10.

Winnsboro just beat a number 8 2A team last week and I really think that by district time they will move up in the rankings. The next two games after this one Friday night should tell the tale. They will be playing Pittsburg and Gladewater. We will just see how strong they are then. District challenges will only be Gilmer and Lindale. I think the rest of the teams will be a piece of cake.

I am so glad that Collier Sharpe have never rated Bridge City in their top 20, in three years! They went two rounds then four rounds the last two years without their ranking, so bringing back nearly all their skilled position should certainly merit not being ranked on their poll again this year. You are ranking a few real losers again this year arn't you.

Commerce should be ranked higher. I dont see what people keep seeing in Forney to rank them so high. They should not even be in the top 20. I think a team like Wilmer Hutchins who beat a pretty good 4A South Oak Cliff team last week should be in the top 10. Its a good thing the polls dont mean anything.
