I thought the 20GB was only 299?

For 299 you don't even get a HDD, it's a waste of money. Most stores don't even sell them.

For 100 more you get a HDD, a headset, a wireless controller and a free month of live.

For the 299 once you get a wired controller and that's it, you either have to buy a $50 64mb memory card, or the $100 20gb harddrive. Plus you don't get the headset and wireless controller.

of course, at some point i will buy one, and it will probably be the 60GB anyway

I think the Elite is 399, and the 20 gb version is 349.

That is the rumored price drop.

Well I have both and my 360 sees a lot more action than my PS3 as far as gaming is concerned. My PS3 primarily gets used for Blu Ray and thats it.

It is not just the games..Sony announced their are continuing to have problems with backward compatability, and then they announce that NCAA 2008 will basically not be as good on ps3 as Xbox 360
