AmeriHost is right there & reasonable $$. Clean with microwave & fridge. Hope that helps. Stayed there in April, went to Cheatham Street, etc. Good times.

Most San Marcos hotels are on the other end of town, close to the University, but plenty of good ones. Besides, where would you want to stay in San Marcos, close to the oultlet mall or close to Herbert's Taco Hut???????:p

We are looking for a room this weekend. Best price I have found so far is the good ole Motel 6.

If you're looking for cheap. Motel 6 is the way to go. Tom Bodett always leaves the light on for you.

Red Roof should be comparable in price,tho.

I'll be down there this weekend with my girlfriend. We stay at her parents for free though.:)
