Are there any theaters around Dallas that show movies in HD? The closest one I know of is in Tyler.

I dunno but there are several that you can grab an empty popcorn bucket and knock a hole in the bottom and.. nm, must be the beer talkin

Most of the newer ones are in DLP around DFW

Well that new theaters have opened? The only one I know of is Starplex in forney, and that isn't quiet HD lol

the cinemark legacy 24 in Plano shows movies in DLP.. thats prolly your best bet

Film's resolution is actually higher than HD. DLP theaters are definitely your best bet for picture quality purposes.

Most movies are probably shot in 1080p. Unless they are recording 1260(i think thats the next step up) for future purposes.

Most films being shot digitally are using the Panasonic Genesis or the Sony F23 camera. Both are 1080p. But most directors are still shooting on plain old film. 35 mm film resolution usually is around 2400x1400.

What is it with you and HD? Get you some new glasses and you'll see it just fine.
