I led a worship service this past Sunday in which we honored our servicemen and women. It was very emotional. I love it when we sing the song that salutes each branch of service. We ask our congregation that when their branch of the military is sung, please stand that we may thank you.

Always very emotional for me.

the ones i'm praying for are my comrades over there right now


one is a kid from richardson who went with me to boot camp and did a tour with me as part of our unit

he volunteered to go back for a year to fallujah

my unit, which leaves in september

(i won't be going with them again because i will change duty stations after 3 years here and my son wil be born in mid-september)

This is always a great day to be in a military town

One of our boys was back home this past Sunday. I got to thank him personally. I know his mom and dad really well as they are in the music ministry.

This kid is a sniper.:eek: That's got to be a tough job. I know he has at least 1 confirmed kill.:(
