I was wondering if all the folks from Sinton had to get their lifejackets out this morning. When I woke up and watched the weather, I think they were getting hammered.

It is now raining here with very low and suspicious looking black clouds....but the sky isn't green. Thank goodness!

Don't need them just yet, but if it keeps raining we might!!  Lots of standing water in our yard on our street. Drainage system isn't quite up to scratch out where we live. The back part of the street (where I live) was already completely underwater. Once you neared the main street (or entrance) it was alot better.

Right now, it looks like only a light drizzle, but there is still alot of lighting & thunder.

Boy did that wake me up this morning around 5:30!!!! WHOA

It's been raining in DFW every day for the past 10 days or so...with 40-80% chances forecast all of this week as well.

Knowing what a "morning person" you are, I am glad that I wasn't within earshot. ;)

It took a little while to get them to settle down, but everytime I did another thunder would get them riled up again. HaHa

I could use a nap. :)

We got a good shower yesterday afternoon, which saved the boy from having to weed-eat. I think it might've rained some last night, but it might've been dreams. The weather radio went off Saturday that Burnet was getting hit bad, but it never made it this way. The sky today is completely overcast today.

for those of you familiar with the Nursery store, between Cuero and Victoria on Highway 87 (at the flashing light) this picture was taken from near the parking lot of the Trading Post store.. the next picture was taken from the middle of Highway 87 - looking towards Mission Valley

I want to mow my yard but I have not gotten the Pontoons to fit yet. I did look at the precip analysis and we had gotten rain all weekend in different showers. Now the precip is between 35 and 40 inches since jan 1 and over 8 inches last week alone. We usually hit about 31 inches per the entire year.
