these cruise ships nowadays? I have never researched the Titanic much!

it wasn't...our modern ships dwarf the titanic! We always hear it was the biggest ship ever made, but that was nearly a hundred years ago.

We're heading out on Rhapsody of the Seas on July 15 for 7 day cruise

Its biggest Royal Caribbean out of Galveston

There is a much bigger one - Freedom Of the Seas in Flordia

160,000 ton-had its maiden voyage in 2006

The Titanic had a sister ship called the Britanica. It was sunk near Greece in 1916 during WW2. The British were supposed to be sending medical supplies on it so it was protected by international law. Some German spies on the ship found out the British were actually cheating and sending some ammunition which meant all bets for clearance were off. The German spies set up bombs which sank the ship. Thus sadly ended the life of Titanic's sister ship. :(
