suicide in Rockdale

A Rockdale highschool sophomore committed suicide Tuesday, November 18. He was found hung in his garage around 7:30. Please keep him, his family, and friends in your prayers.

That is a terrible tragedy.

I probably shouldn't say anything....but I am not known to "hold my tongue"!! I think the fact a child commited suicide would have been sufficient information. All the details, which frankly, kinda made me sick to my stomach, could have been left out!!

I agree, this is not needed what so ever. The family is going through enough, the details as far as I am concerned need to be removed from this post. Saying a kid killed himself would have been more than enough and keep the family in your prayers. This is not needed! The family as well as you are in my prayers cause there was no need for that.

ebd50, maybe you should edit all that out. To us, it's only 'hearsay" anyway. Out of respect for life's essence itself, the other stuff could have gone unsaid in my humble opinion. Why tell EVERYONE on a statewide site about it?

Regardless of details, anyone who is in enough pain to end their life is suffering terribly and doesn't see an end in sight. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers to all this young man left behind. I have a 7th grade son, and I would never want him to experience such a thing. I pray that he has found the peace he sought. God Bless.

don't worry about editing it, Im from Rocdkale no body from rockdale will get on here that knew him.....its really sad, he was picked on alot, and after it was all said and done, people started tryong to act like they were his friend....that made me furious! Just take this as a reminder that hateful words can really sink in, so try not to make thoughtless remarks to ppl because they are different from you.
