Is Giovanni Vizza still going to go there? He seems to flip flop schools once a month.

The jump from HS to college is huge. I'd believe that Dodge could do it with an experienced group of college assistants, but I don't know with all those HS assistants. That's a tough row to hoe.

I voted five wins.

His staff is split 50-50.

He'll be fine.

It may be tough this year.

He'll be fine.

he has already showed he can recruit.. I think it might take a year for the team to really learn the system, and get his types of players in the system.. I predict a 5-7 season, and a 8-5 season the next year.. and only going up from there

Todd understands the college game
he was qb at Texas
Ill bet he has some idea
or he would have not taken the job
or been given it

I met Daniel Meager a couple of times...that kid is shorter and scrawnier than I am, and I never played football at any level!

not to mention he has college coaching experience from being UNT's offensive coordinator in the early 90's

I voted 6-7 (bowl eligible). Dodgeball is coming!

As for the QB situation, I think Nathan Tune will be starting when Sunbelt Conference games begin.

i hope you're right, CCF!

he always seemed very poised to me!

although, meager is experienced and vizza is also very talented and maybe a better fit for the system....

we'll see soon

Keith, I wish you were right on this one. If only, we were not playing OU and Arkansas this year!

More chances for an upset or an almost upset.

perhaps, but that all depends on how quickly the players learn the system, how good of a quarterback runs it, and on how good they can recruit over the next couple of years

I'm using that logic to vote 4 wins.

I think they will do better in coming years though.

That's exactly why I'm giving him five wins.

Don't forget that Todd coached at North Texas before he became a high school coach. While he wasn't a head coach, he does have college experience.:)
