Five away from tying, six away from passing Hank Aaron.

I didn't like Bonds before steroids stories started. I had too much information about him through a guy on his team in San Francisco 10 years ago. I won't give a carp if he hits 1000 HR's. He ain't half the man Hank Aaron or The Babe was.

I hope he breaks his leg rounding first on 754.

Actually I would rather them prove he did steriods before he breaks the record than him break his leg. This is silly, everyone knows this dude has cheated and the only people they can bust are middle relievers and minor league players. In response to something earlier said, Babe Ruth was not what you would call an honorable man.

I was thinking the same thing.

And wishing harm to Bonds, that's just tacky. I don't care for the guy but I don't wish him ill.

Babe Ruth was not a saint that is certain, but he just hammered the baseball with natural strength. Hank Aaron did the very same thing, all natural. Bonds is a pure me player and they should walk him until he retires.

I'm one of the people that plans to boycott and ignore Bonds when he break the record (which unfortnately will be soon). Everyone knows how he accomplished this. Babe Ruth was not an angel, but he and Henry Aaron did it without benift from a substance.

When he gets to 754, are they going to pitch to him at all?

If I was the manager, I would tell my pitcher to walk him every time. Maybe then he will gte a messege that no one cares about him. When he reaches 756, that is going to be a sad day in baseball. I just glad that his dad is not around to see this.

If he does hit it, hopefully its at Wrigley, that way the ball will get thrown back.

I hope that they throw the ball back at him. I want him to break it away from home so he will get the reception that he really deserves.
