What type of Ranking do you prefer?

I am about to ramp up my Statewide and Regional rankings and I wanted some fan inputs

Do you prefer

top 10 or top 20 State Rankings

Top 10 or Top 5 Regional Rankings

Do you like it done by some type of formula..thru votes..or just one person's view

Do you like a small recap of why that team is ranked where it is?


Just wanted some input from the fans, I will not be to arrogant to not get the input of fans on things like this

i kinda like top 20 statewide...then the top 10 for each region ..then the top 2-3 for each district

if that helps any...i dont like voting cuz while some ppl vote completely unbiased, others (no names) vote biased....i would put sweetwater about 25th in the state 30th at the worst....i say Abilene Wylie would be about 18th at the beginning of the season, but like every year they'll def. be a top 10 team...snyder i'd have about 10 or 11

I think you know the media is also biased ... whether they will admit it or not :p

just look at the AP poll for evidence of that

I'm with Reggie on all the above. As many rankings with as much info as possible. It's always fun to hear about teams from other parts of the state.

TOP 20 AND TOP 10

whether it came from one person or a group, a top ten and top 5 doesn't do enough justice to that second tier that is close behind

besides, whenever changes occur in the top 10, normally the replacements come from the next 10, so it's good to track both of them.

of course, i might be biased in saying even more depth isn't too bad;)

besides there is only one ranking that counts
winning your last game in the playoffs in December

I think it should be Top 200 (or however many schools there are!). Oh, and don't rank them numerically. Alphabetically might be a good way to go! Just make sure everyone is included and nobody's feelings are hurt!
