Burnet's New Head Coach?

I heard it was the Junior High Coordinator. Read it was on an interim basis but will be head coach until January when the board will decide if they want to keep him at that position or look elsewhere. Where all has he coached?

I believe he has coached at Jacksboro, Eastland, and Hale Center. Local paper said he was very successful at all 3 places, losing a state title game in the final minute at Eastland, I believe...

Coach Doyle Walker

The local paper had a long article about him yesterday. He came across with a good attitude about maintaining the same system in order to keep the kids from having to make a big adjustment quickly. He said he would use the spread offense with just a few minor changes. He's been a coach almost 30 years.
