We saw George Thoroughgood and the Delaware Destroyers play in Austin in March 1983 - we were supposed to see them in January but it got SNOWED out and rescheduled for March.. That was a great show, we had a good time.

1983 - I was a year out of high school!!

WOW!! It just dawned on me that my 25 yr high school reunion would have been this year.

No one cared enough to organize it for our 20th year....me being one of them that passed on it....so I guess our 10 yr one will be the only one we ever had!!

Oh well.....there isn't too many people that I went to school with that I care about seeing that much!!

I am currently sitting still paying bills and surfing - but not for long!! Right after state, W and I turned around and went back to Round Rock for the All-Star game, came home late Saturday night, then left out Sunday morning with L for the A&M softball camp. W is playing for the local legion team and they had their home tourney this last weekend, but he and I leave for Shreveport's wood bat tourney this Friday (at least I get to see my mom). M is playing in a txk summer soccer league (yea-at home!). Tom is leaving for the OKC-Hall of Fame sb tourney with L tomorrow (may be a rainout, tho). Dizzy yet? L has another sb camp coming up, and ASA state; W has more legion ball and possibly some with D-Bat plus THSCA football all-stars ... it's crazy, and we stay broke, but I really wouldn't have it any other way. Being a teacher, I am off in the summers, and Tom continues working at the school, but can take off when he needs to. I know I will be lost when they are all gone in a couple of years, so Iam soaking it up now.
