I have never eaten placenta nor will i ever try it. . .but when i was in Nursing school and doing my clinical on the labor and delivery floor i had to preserve one for a family who was going to take home and eat. it was part of their beliefs/religion.

The topic was being discussed yesterday on a very serious, straightlaced DFW sports radio station. It was actually the second time I had heard the topic discussed on the particular station and it made me curious. So I thought I would see if perhaps anyone here had done so.
