Abilene Wylie is not part of Abilene ISD, correct? Is it in the city of Abilene?

What about Greenwood? Part of Midland ISD? In the city of Midland?

Are there other schools that are commonly attached to cities/ISDs that they are not a part of?

Greenwood is NOT part of the Midland ISD...nor is it in Midland....it is 9 miles SW of Midland and has it's own ISD!!

Pretty much! Or that's how it seems in the Midland Reporter Telegram! Greenwood barely gets a mention!

Even on the MyWestTexasFootball.com website...there is hardly ever a mention of Greenwood there. (Of course, that is partly my fault, I don't hardly post there either.....it's no fun discussing your team with yourself):p
