The idiot judge in Washington, DC that was suing a Korean cleaner establishment for 54 million dollars for losing his pants lost. The judge in the case poured him out like old cat litter.

This lawyer/judge should have his license suspended or he should even be disbarred. What a crap lawsuit. The Koreans had even offered him $12,000.00 to settle this.

99% of all lawyers give the other 1% a bad name.

One time many years ago a laundry mat (not open anymore) lost a tie and shirt I had left there. I wish they would have offered me just $120 and I would have been happy.
Especially since the total costs for both at the time was probably under $25. They didn't offer to pay me and I didn't sue.

;)

I agree Shankbear and I wish the Judge would have ordered the lawyer to pay the Korean couple's legel fees to boot

I read the article and they addressed the legal fees:
"The court costs amount to just over $1,000 for photocopying, filing and similar expenses, according to the Chungs' attorney. A motion to recover the Chungs' tens of thousands of dollars in attorney fees will be considered later."

I saw this on the news last week. Glad they ruled against him and I agree '44...those poor folks spent alot of money defending themselves! Hopefully, they will be reimbursed.

how are we supposed to have faith in our legal system with judges like this out there - thank goodness the judge ruling the case had some freakin COMMON SENSE....he should have to work in the dry cleaners until he pays off the people's attorneys fees.....

The judge kept dropping that case in front of the reporter, trying to trip him or something. What a d/a.

has anyone else been noticing most of the judges that are moderating high profile and famous cases are being very strict?

this is a far change from before when rediculous lawsuits were getting passed left and right
