how long does your battery last on a full charge

Two to two and a half hours, depending on what I'm doing on it.

mine only give me an hour and a half...i didn't think that was very long...i guess i need to get a car charger...

yes your settings do matter. Most or all I don't know have power management options where you can set your power usage when running on battery. Also of course when you dim your screen it takes less power.

Not sure just in general usage, but ours last a little under 2 hours with a DVD playing and the screen on the highest brightness

mine doesnt last at all. As soon as I unplug it it will power down. Sucks

That shouldn't happen. You might have some kind of power saver set so if it loses AC power it turns off

it doesnt actually power down...it just shuts off....

There is a software program you can download free to give you information about your battery

Forgot the name of it-its on my work laptop

Shows you wear on it etc

this battery doesnt not charge at all. this is my wife's laptop and my laptop is the same way. Dell laptops are very bad when it comes to battery life. They have even told me that over the phone....the battery went bad about a week after the warranty was up

jason...is it easy to put memory into a laptop? Im thinking about buying some to replace the memory in my laptop.
