Just got a call from my daughter....she informed me my "house is leaking!"

When I asked her to clarify, she said there was water coming out from the wall of the house where the wall and the slab meets!

I'm no plumber, but that doesn't sound good to me!!

probably a water heater leak, you need to get it fixed asap, dont want it to ruin other things too. Good Luck with that on the weekend...

best of luck....plumbing repairs are a pain...almost would be better if it were the hot water heater.

We recently had this problem, but it was our water line to the back of the refrigerator/freezer.

You are not the only one we are having plumbing problems as well.

I want my husband to look at it first....he installed our whole sprinkler system, the waterlines for the swimming pool, etc.

He can be the one who decides if we need a plumber or not.....and we happen to be friends with a couple!!:D

He should be home by now...he hasn't called me freaking out yet!! I'm taking that as a good sign!!:p

Still not sure whats going on.....it's leaking between two bricks at the bottom of the house. Thank goodness the water is going outside though. On the other side of the wall is the storage closet that has the water heater in it.....everything is dry in there.

Bad thing is....we have poured SO much concrete around the area where it is leaking. Hubby is debating on getting a sledge hammer and trying to locate the leak himself. The two people who he just got off the phone with gave him bad stories about the local "leak detectors" around here.

I don't know if our insurance covers something like this.....I can't talk to them until Monday.

We are still in the "deciding" stage as to what step we are going to take next. He turned the water off, so it's not leaking right now.

Sounds like a busted water line in the slab to me. I have had that twice in 2 different houses. Talk about a pain in the arse!

all depends on what type of policy you have now - for your sake, I hope it does :)
