What would you do if you caught Bond's record breaking homerun ball?

I would pull a T.O. and write I (heart) Hank Aaron with a sharpie and throw it back. That way I would forever be in the baseball hall of fame. Selling it on e-bay is too trendy for me.......

switch it out with one of those "authentic game balls" that you can buy in the store, throw it back, and stash number 756 in your pocket so that nobody ever knows where the real ball is.

i would burn it in a barrel on the steps of the baseball hall of fame, along with the 755 ball of barry's

hank aaron was a thousand times the man, and the player, that Barry Bonds will ever be

keep it
dont let anybody have it
that way the value goes in the tank
just as the value of HIS HR record
not Hanks

the media will try to make this a big deal
I dont think most of the public cares
SF will dump him after this year

Hank still ownes the record
to me he always will

I'm sure most of the outfield seats are sold out for the next couple of months for all Giants games - home and away - with folks waiting for their 15 minutes of fame.

I predict a riot in the stands with at least 2 to 3 lawsuits saying I touched the ball first. Doesn't the MLB put some type of chip in the balls once the record is close? That way there's no fakes.

Funny thing is if MLB has that technology why can't they seriously drug test for steriods now instead of giving it lip service and suspending the few minor leaguers they do?

Also am surprised not much mention of steriods and Sosa's #600. He's 1/3 the size he used to be when I went to a million games at Wrigley.

what I'd LIKE to see is a fan catch the ball, get that grumpy look, chunk it back on to the field, half the crowd cheer and the other half run on to the field in a mad dash for the ball...

Now there's a great ESPN moment in the making - throwing it back and having a melee on the field...........
