No way to prove Ruth or anyone else wasn't on something either

considering anabolic steroids werent discovered until the 30's, I dont think that Babe Ruth's lifetime stats would have been affected very much....the 50's is when weightlifters in competition began abusing the drug

Ruth was on hot dogs, stoogies, women and beer

Is that guy who yells "HOTTTTTTT DAAAWWWGGS" still at Arlington?

He was one of a kind. Might have been 100 people selling them, but you could hear him from 3 sections over. And he would have the biggest grin after getting your attention.

I was at the game where Sammy's bat was corked. I still have the ticket and the newspaper headlines from the next day. I witnessed the beginning of Sammy's fall from grace in Chicago.

how ironic is it that he gets #600 and his 1st ever home-run(i think) against the cubs

Me and 3afan know exactly who you are talking about. Not sure if he is still there though

it was historic for that reason too...his homer off the cubs means that he now has hit a home run against all thirty teams in MLB.

do you think biggio retires after this year...i think he only came back this season to get to 3000 and solidify his hall of fame bid
