They still have to play another game if they lose, right?

Yeah but if they win UNC's out. UNC has a lot more urgency.
Don't look now, but Rice has 2 on with no out in the bottom of the 7th

Rice... always reminds me of the late great Coach Glass who QB'd rice back in the 50's... told us before scrimmaging Rice Consolidated one year that A&M always had a deal they'd break out of the team huddle with...
one would say "What comes out of a China-man's a%$?" the rest would yell "Rice"...
miss ya Coach

A great coach and qb

from Lamar's site:
A native of Bloomburg, Glass helped Lamar win SLC titles in 1965 and 1966, which gave the Cardinals three straight conference championships. The other SLC title came in 1971. His best season at Lamar was in 1974 when the Cardinals posted an 8-2 record. He was named SLC Coach of the Year in 1970 and 1974.

from Wiki:
1947: Texas’ 14-0 win made it three straight shutouts over Oklahoma, but no defense has ever dominated a game like the Texans did in this one. Oklahoma had just 2 yards in total offense and only one first down. The Sooners were minus-7 yards on the ground and were 1-of-11 for 9 yards passing. Texas’ offense, however, only had four first downs in the game. Corpus Christi quarterback Vernon Glass ran 12 yards on a touchdown and threw 12 yards to Kenneth Martin of Wichita Falls for another TD. The second TD came on a flea flicker when Glass took a lateral from Hayden Fry of Odessa before tossing the scoring pass. Fry also had a 9-yard run and threw a 16-yard pass in the first scoring drive.
